Change sleep settings
Settings → System → Power → adjust when it sleeps, or set the lid action so it doesn't sleep unexpectedly.

Turn off Fast Startup
Control Panel → Power Options → Choose what the power buttons do → uncheck Fast Startup. This fixes many wake issues.
