What You Need
Microfiber cloth
70% Isopropyl alcohol
Compressed air
Cotton swabs
Screen
- Turn off the laptop and unplug it.
- Gently wipe with a dry microfiber cloth for dust.
- For smudges, dampen the cloth with distilled water or 50/50 water + isopropyl alcohol.
- Wipe in gentle, circular motions. Don't press hard.
- Never spray liquid directly on the screen.
Keyboard
- Turn laptop upside down at an angle, gently shake.
- Use compressed air between keys (short bursts, held at angle).
- Wipe key surfaces with lightly dampened cloth.
- For grime between keys, use a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol.
